Today is the Day!

Well, I booked this trip nine months ago, and the departure day is finally here.
I have about 2 million things to do, yet I'm not too stressed. All the essential items are packed, so I'm pretty much ready.
Traveling to Egypt has been a dream for so long -- I can't even remember when my interest in going started. It was probably several years ago when the King Tut exhibit toured North America. The exhibit made it to Seattle, but not to Vancouver and some of the classes in my elementary school ventured down south to see it -- mine did not! :( So, after all these years I will get to see it in Cairo!
My journey begins tonight as we fly from Vancouver to London, we'll 'enjoy' Heathrow airport for about 3-4 hours, and then journey on to Cairo. Stay tuned for observations on airline hospitality, people watching, "are they in love?", food and smells....oh, yes and the attractions in Egypt!
