Two more sleeps!
My trip to Egypt is almost here....it's been quite some time in the making, and I'm getting excited, and somewhat panicked! There is much to do before Thursday, yet I am completely distracted by Steve Martin and the lyrics to "King Tut" swirling around in my head! According to the song, he was buried with a donkey! Hmmm. I'll have to check that out.
Thursday will be here soon enough, and I'll be jetting off with my friends, Fiddy and Cindy, to London and then on to Cairo. It's a long trip, and I promise to not be grumpy!
My adventure starts in Cairo, then we head south to Luxor, Aswan and then off to Sharm El Sheik on the Red Sea.
Stay tuned for more as I realize my travel dream of visiting Egypt!!

I am so excited for you! Have a wonderful and safe trip.
What a trip of a lifetime! Y'all have a great trip! Take many close photos of all interesting architectural features! Stephen
I don't know why, but I can't get Lawrence of Arabia out of my head. Yes, I know, wrong country, different time altogether, yet still, a grand adventure!!
Stay safe, don't smoke too many hookah pipes.......and have a great time!
And.....it's ok if you get just a little bit grumpy from time to time....just try to give Fiddy and Cindy a little forewarning, so they can stay out of your way!

Ok guys....I'm obviously out of the loop here. Will someone please tell me who Camille is?
Barb, I just got home with your car. All is good. Still drives like a dream even after 170000 kms on it. Way to go Honda!
So you're plane hasn't left yet.....I imagine you're all boarding right about now, or just about to. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow, just as you're about to arrive. Safe journey!
